PET COMMISSIONS
As a needle felting artist specializing in pet and animal portraits, I take pride in capturing the unique personality of each animal. Through the intricate process of needle felting - 'painting with wool' I use sheep wool to bring the personality of the portrait to life that makes your pet so special.
Each portrait is a labor of love, meticulously created to reflect the spirit of your beloved animal.
Every portrait is different and can take me up to 15 hours and up to complete.
Choosing the right photo for your pet's portrait is crucial. Headshots only are used and the photo you select sets the tone for the entire artwork.
I work closely with you to guide you on the selection process, ensuring that the chosen image picked works for the wool and your pet.
WORKSHOPS
Would you like to learn this beautiful and relaxing craft?
Come along to one of my 2D Needle Felting Workshops, where I will guide you through the basics of creating your own wool picture. You’ll learn how to work with sheep wool, including how to felt, layer and blend different colours to create realistic fur and bring your picture to life.
No previous experience is needed — I’ll guide you through the process step by step, and you’ll have the opportunity to create your own piece to take home with you.
I’m happy to welcome individuals for 1-to-1 sessions or groups, making the workshops suitable whether you fancy learning something new on your own, or enjoying a creative experience with friends or family.
Workshops are held in the lovely Tankerville Café & Bar in Longden, Shrewsbury, a warm, bright and comfortable environment where you can sit back, get creative and enjoy learning something new.
