I create unique needle felt animal portraits using premium sheep wool. After receiving a clear photo of your animal’s face, I will craft a portrait that replicates their character and features.
While I strive to match colours as closely as possible, please note that exact colour matching may not always be possible due to the nature of wool.
The portrait will be based solely on the photo you provide.

Animal Portrait Commissions – £50 Non-Refundable Deposit UK
Dependant when I start (depends on my portrait list), it usually takes me a couple of weeks (let me know if you have a specific date you need it for and where possible I would see if I could meet your dead line).
Once we have agreed on a photograph, I will get you to confirm that this is the correct photograph that you would like replicating (due to working with wool, colours may not be exact to the photograph you provide but I will get as close to as possible). When picking the photograph, please remember that the colours, shape will be the final portrait so if you have a long haired animal and you pick a picture of them clipped, this is what I will do. This is the same if the pet changes colour in summer or winter, ensure you pick which you would like to have done.
I always use a stone coloured background felt, if you would like a different colour, please let me know (price will vary dependant on the colour as I will have to order in specially).
I don't frame the portraits as each customer has different decor and I like to leave for the owner to choose. I can pop into a picture mount which will be cream either vertical or horizontal - photos will be sent at the end for you to pick which is best. If you are taking to have professionally framed, I would advise you not to have the mount and just the portrait so the framer can work with you which would look the best.
All portraits are approximately 8” x 8” (head and part of the neck). I dont add acessories so please if possible take the photograph without.
I ask for a £50 non-refundable deposit prior to starting a portrait This covers my materials to start work on the portrait and in the event of you not liking the completed portrait, it will go towards some of the time spent working on it.
On completion, and if you are happy, I will ask for the remaining balance to be paid prior to posting
All portraits are posted 48hr tracked and signed for.
I really hope I can produce a portrait that you are really happy with. If you need any adjustments, I will work with you as much as I can but in the event we cannot come to an agreement and you are still not happy, I will not ask for the remaining balance. In this instance, I would retain the portrait and the £50 deposit.
Unfortunately, I do not offer returns/exchanges on commissions due to being one offs and specific to the customer.
Please note that I retain the rights to reproduce (for prints, promotion, social media etc) any artwork created from your submitted photo. If the portrait is for a gift or surprise, please let me know as I will not use until the portrait has been gifted.
